Open ParTab and tap "New Round." Select your course, add players by name or invite them via QR code, choose your game format (Nassau, Scotch, Skins, etc.), and set your stakes. You'll be ready to tee off in under 60 seconds.

Each round generates a unique QR code and a shareable link. Tap "Invite Players" in the round setup screen and share via text or AirDrop. Players with the app installed can join instantly; others will be prompted to download it.

For the full experience, yes — each player should have ParTab installed. However, one person in the group can manage scoring for everyone if others prefer not to use their phone during the round.

ParTab uses full USGA course handicap calculations. Enter each player's handicap index at the start of the round, and ParTab will apply the correct number of strokes per hole based on the course's stroke index (hole difficulty ranking). Net scores update automatically.

Yes. The round creator (or any player with edit access) can enter scores for the entire group. This is handy if some players in your group prefer to stay off their phones during the round.

No problem. Tap any completed hole to edit its score. All bets and running totals will recalculate immediately. Corrections can be made at any point during the round, or even after you've finished.

At launch: Nassau, Scotch, Skins, Best Ball, and Stroke Play. Wolf, Scramble, and additional formats are coming in future updates. Each format has full rules built in — presses, rolls, carryovers, and all the variations your group plays.

Press bets are triggered in-app during the round. Any player who is down can initiate a press; the app tracks original bets and press bets separately and settles them all at the end. Automatic presses (e.g., auto-press when 2 down) can also be configured in your game settings.

At the end of the round, ParTab shows a clear breakdown of who owes whom and how much. With one tap, settlement requests are sent via Venmo (or another payment app you choose). ParTab does not process payments directly — it just handles the math and initiates the request.

Yes. You can layer games — for example, running a Nassau alongside a Skins game in the same round. ParTab tracks each game separately and combines all totals into a single settlement at the end.
